To keep my PMI certification, I need to get some PDUs. What are the best ways to earn them, and what are the good things about each way?

Here are some simple ways to grab PDUs:

* Online courses or webinars: These are flexible and count toward your education credits.
* Work as a project manager: Get PDUs for something you're already doing! These fall under the Giving Back category.
* Volunteer or mentor: It's a good way to give back, build connections, and earn PDUs.
* Read project management books or articles: A fast and cheap way to pick up some PDUs.

It's a good idea to do a mix of these to meet all the category requirements.

for cheap and fast PDUs, I read books/articles, but be smart about it. like when I finish a relevant book (like The Phoenix Project or a specific PM methodology guide), I self report the time spent reading.
keep a simple log with the title and date, and bam! easy, non stressful PDUs

The easiest ways are online courses, webinars, or attending industry events. Online courses are flexible, webinars are quick and often free, and events give networking plus learning and yeah volunteering or creating content can earn PDUs too and help build your resume
