How do you know when to stop planning and adjust

First off, I do manage projects and stuff but I don't if this is the place for this. I'm managing a pretty big home reno, adding a second story and I keep falling into this trap where I'm endlessly refining the plan instead of actually executing it. I've got the charts, contingencies, and even I've identified backup suppliers, but every time I'm about to start on the next phase I find something else to optimize first. I don't want to be a pain to the others

How do you know when your plan is actually good enough to move forward or when you're legitimately missing something important? I feel like I'm using planning as procrastination at this point but I also don't want to rush in and regret it. I just thought some advice or motivations from fellow planners might help

You've already hit it, you're using planning as procrastination. Look @nosey pete with charts, contingencies, and backup suppliers identified, you're past the threshold of good enough
If you can't name a specific decision that's actually blocking the next phase? then you're ready
