AI and small business management

We're a small team juggling a lot, and lately I've been experimenting with layering AI into our project workflows but mostly to help with task planning, doc drafts, and some light customer comms. It's been a really good and helpful in a lot of ways but also raised a few new questions. The other angle I've been thinking about is how w'ere gonna keep things lean and efficient without kinda losing the core of the small business especially when it comes to managing projects that have real good environmental impact. We work in a space where eco-conscious decisions matter like supply chain choices, local sourcing, waste minimization, and the likes and I want to make sure AI tools are helping us stay accountable, not just only faster.
So everyone that can help out, please I wanna know how you all are blending tech, AI with work efficiency and ethics

I'm really loving what you're doing here! AI is such an amazing tool for making life easier, but I totally agree with you, staying true to our values is super important too. From what I've seen, the sweet spot is using AI for the admin stuff, planning, and those everyday communications, while leaving the big decisions about sourcing, waste, and community impact in the hands of people who care.

So, what's next on your list to optimize? I'm curious to hear about it!

Have you ever considered sharing behind-the-scenes stories about your eco efforts? People love seeing how values show up in real decisions, not just polished results

We use AI for automated reporting on our waste reduction goals
It compiles data from various sources (inventory, disposal logs) and highlights areas where we're falling short or excelling. It keeps us accountable without extra manual work
