New to Tech project management

I recently started a small business in LA and I'm thinking about getting into the tech industry. Specifically project management for software teams.

I've mostly worked in customer support, but I've always been drawn to organizing tasks and helping teams hit goals. I'm trying to figure out what I need to get started. Do I need any certifications like PMP or Scrum Master? Are there beginner-friendly courses that actually help? Not sure if I need any kind of license either. Thanks!

Sounds like you're in a good spot to transition to project management, especially with your background in customer support.

You've already got some of the key soft skills you need because of your background. About certifications... there is no single license you have to have, but they can definitely help. Project Management Professional is well known and shows you understand the whole project lifecycle. But it you need a good amount of previous project experience to get. Why not try the Google Project Management Certificate it's a good place to start.
